The Power Electronics Lab (PELAB) at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), founded in 2009, is a modern research and development facility.
High quality graduate students use the state-of-the-art instrumentation to design, simulate, prototype, and test the innovative power electronic converters that have potential practical applications, e.g. in renewable energy, utility, and transportation.
In addition, it provides technical assistance, education, and research for electric utilities and their customers on power quality testing and troubleshooting at their sites or in the PELAB.

It also hosts undergraduate students for the experimental sessions of the Industrial Electronics course.
